| Happy May Day to all! Did you know May Day is a celebration of happiness, joy and the coming of Summer? Sounds like my type of celebration! I don't know about you, but I sure need that hot summer sun beating down on my fur, especially after that awful winter. The big news for May is my Nana's birthday on May 2nd! I hear she may be coming to visit me very soon, so we can celebrate in cat style. Other famous people have their birthday this month, including my cousin Matt and none other than our 2003 'Otto' recipient, Dave King! Yes, Dave was quite surprised when he was informed of his selection as this year's 'Otto' award winner. I will always remember his first words upon hearing the news, "Holy cow, I mean, holy cat, I'm the Otto award winner!" Dave's acceptance speech is now available for those who missed the ceremony, along with the New York Times article describing this purrstegious event. Concatulations again, Dave! Shhh...we have inside news that his 'Shades of Dave' CD will be released later this month! Stay tuned! During April, we announced a trio as the April Paw Pal of the month! Concatulations to the Reading, MA cats! The final piece of award news is that I am now the purroud recipient of three web site awards- the Four Paws Up award, the Heavenly Cat award, and the most recent addition to my award rack- the Purrfect Web Site award! Please visit my new Awards Web page. One of my feature stories this month includes a 'good luck cat' to bring all of you luck and prosperity. Also, be sure to read the feature on my favorite candle maker! She really lights up my life! My Cat Tales section has been greatly expanded this month.
